Position Summary
Henke Industrial LLC is seeking an experienced Millwright/Rigger. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proven experience with the relocation of heavy machinery, and a demonstrated ability to operate specialized equipment safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Rig, lift, and relocate heavy industrial equipment using large forklifts, Versa lifts, and gantry leg systems
- Perform optical and laser alignment of equipment to precise tolerances
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and machine layout plans
- Assist with equipment dismantling, packaging, and preparation for transport
- Maintain strict adherence to all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA standards
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Millwright, Rigger, or in heavy equipment relocation
- Proficient in operating large capacity forklifts (30,000 lbs. or greater), Versa lifts, and gantry systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial systems and equipment
- Familiarity with optical alignment tools (e.g., dial indicators, laser alignment systems)
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and machine layout documents
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (required)
- NCCCO or NCCER Rigging Certification (preferred)
- Previous management experience a plus!
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Aerial Lift/Boom Lift Certification
- Prior experience with plant shutdowns, equipment relocations, or work in the automotive or heavy industrial sector
- Willingness to travel and work at various job sites as required
