The D Shift Supervisor is responsible for the daily leadership and execution of hourly union team members supporting all aspects of the Erlanger Distribution Center, including receiving, shipping, assembly, kitting, and spares shipments. The role coordinates with both internal and external customers to ensure customer needs are met.

• Direct and lead hourly team members on the D shift in a Union environment.
• Ensure daily safety, quality, delivery, and cost of shipped product meet site operating metrics.
• Assign all Material Handler functions daily to respond to AOGs, critical customer requests, assembly and spares orders, receiving, and put‑away volume.
• Create work assignments supporting daily KPIs:
  Safety Concerns, Customer Service Level, Receiving Cycle, Put‑Away Cycle, and Productivity.
• Expedite critical orders through the Erlanger Distribution Center.
• Ensure team member productivity and adherence to Union Contract, Time and Attendance Policy, Code of Conduct Policy, and other guidelines/policies (including time‑card approval).
• Participate in and/or lead shop improvement projects.
• Drive capacity planning for the shift.
• Conduct daily operating meetings and rhythms.
• Maintain interpersonal relationships with union team members.
• Coordinate with Kitting Leaders and Spares Operations Team to expedite the flow of materials through Erlanger according to production schedules.
• Develop technical expertise on Warehouse Management System, IMPACT, and Process Weaver.
• Understand truck routes and logistics between assembly sites to make daily work decisions.

The D Shift Supervisor position covers shift hours from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am, Friday through Tuesday morning, with flexibility required around shift changeover periods and support for shift pass‑down communications. Flexibility to cover other shifts or holidays is expected and agreed in advance.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution (OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing environment).
• A minimum of 3 years in a warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
