Position: Active Entertainment Center Manager on Duty

Description

The night/ weekend Manager on Duty (MOD) is responsible for the oversight and execution of all operations within the Active Entertainment Center at Silverlake during weekend hours. This includes direct supervision of Kids Quest, the Ropes Course, Clip 'n Climb, and the Trampoline Park. The MOD ensures a safe, high-energy environment that delivers outstanding guest experiences while supporting and guiding the team throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead point of contact and authority for all Active Entertainment areas on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
  • Supervise, support, and coordinate team members across multiple attractions.
  • Ensure appropriate staff coverage in all areas and adjust assignments as needed.
Guest Experience
  • Actively engage with guests and families to ensure satisfaction, safety, and fun.
  • Handle escalated guest concerns or incidents professionally and promptly.
  • Assist with party coordination, group check-ins, and high-volume crowd flow.
Requirements Safety & Standards
  • Monitor all attraction areas for safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
  • Enforce company safety protocols and respond immediately to any incidents or emergencies.
  • Complete and submit incident reports when necessary.
Operational Excellence
  • Conduct pre-shift walkthroughs and end-of-shift reports for each area.
  • Ensure all attractions open and close properly according to set procedures.
  • Report facility or equipment issues to the maintenance or leadership team for follow-up.
Team Development
  • Provide real-time coaching, guidance, and support to team members.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within recreation, hospitality, entertainment, or child-focused environments required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple attractions, staff, and guest needs simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
  • Must be available to work Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays, including holidays and special event weekends.
  • Must be comfortable working in heights up to 27 foot.
