Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

Overview

Owen Daniels are proud to be partnered with a global manufacturing business in their search for an Accountant. The company is a world in leader supplying precision solutions across the industrial sectors, employing over 7000 people worldwide. They recently incorporated in the United States and are looking for an Accountant to support the global team with sales tax compliance and corporate tax filing.

• Act as a primary point of contact for all US financial compliance
• Ensuring compliance with both state and federal tax filings
• Management and monitoring of sales tax compliance state by state
• Preparation of accurate and timely federal, state and any other tax return requirements
• Liaise with global finance on intercompany activity and analysis
• Supporting audits and implementing business improvements/processes to support audit requirements
• Internal and external reporting for all US operations - month end/balance sheet reconciliation and overhead analysis.

• 3+ years experience in accounting, ideally within manufacturing but not essential
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Strong knowledge of state sales tax and corporate tax returns (1120)
• Ability to work independently
