Staff Accountant

trak group is partnering with a growing organization to hire a Staff Accountant who will play a meaningful role across daily accounting operations. This position offers hands‑on responsibility, strong visibility, and the opportunity to grow alongside an expanding accounting function in a small‑team environment.

• Reconcile and post revenue and expenses in Sage Intacct
• Prepare daily management reports using data from multiple sources
• Perform job costing, including matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records, including invoicing and customer statement reconciliations
• Enter and maintain financial data in Sage Intacct and related systems
• Reconcile AR and AP subledgers to the general ledger
• Partner with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Support month‑end close activities and annual audit preparation
• Serve as backup for other accounting functions and support process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with accounting systems (Sage Intacct a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small, fast‑moving environment
• Clear communication skills and a proactive mindset
