Description:
Custom Engineering is looking for an experienced 2nd shift CNC Burn Table Operator.
$18.00- $20.00 per Hour, $2.00 Shift Differential. The CNC Burn Table Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a CNC Flame Burn Table and/or CNC Plasma Burn Table.
Custom Engineering is a heavy fabrication, welding, and machine shop conveniently located less than a mile off the Bayfront Parkway on McClelland Ave. Our ability to complete complex jobs both long-run and short-run, top-of-the-line machinery, and outstanding quality allow us to serve many industries including oil & gas, construction, mining, transportation, power generation, and entertainment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Cut and process quality parts using Flame Cut CNC machine as outlined by senior Flame Cut CNC Operators
- Measures material, stack parts and pallets
- Review information on drawings, bill of material and shop travelers
- Check incoming material to drawings and shop traveler requirements
- Check parts to assure equipment is producing quality parts
Skills and Qualifications
- Two or more years of related experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and shop drawings.
- Basic math skills.
