We are seeking an experienced and driven SAP Technical Leader who will serve as the go‑to expert for SAP BASIS/HANA operations. In this role you will lead administration, architecture, and implementation efforts across a complex, multi‑landscape enterprise environment, mentor junior staff, guide contractors, and collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver reliable, high‑performing SAP solutions.

• Lead SAP BASIS/HANA administration including installations, upgrades, patching, support package application, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Act as Technical Lead on projects, managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Administer SAP environments covering CRM, ECC, BI/BW, Business Objects, Portal, and Solution Manager on SAP HANA.
• Lead design and implementation of portal landscape upgrades and patches.
• Drive problem determination and resolution across all SAP environments.

• Serve as SME in SAP BASIS/HANA, providing analytical depth for system performance evaluations, health checks, and tuning improvements.
• Participate in multi‑landscape design, architecture recommendations, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Provide technical leadership across cross‑functional project teams.

• Partner with SAP functional teams to coordinate and deliver enterprise‑wide SAP enhancements.
• Collaborate with server administrators and DBAs to design, develop, test, and implement solutions, including system maintenance and critical data backups.
• Develop and champion standard practices within the team; support broader IT infrastructure requirements in partnership with other IT groups.
• Mentor and guide junior staff on procedures, standards, and best practices.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP environment designs and landscapes.
• Prepare and present status reports and technical analyses to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the audit team to uphold procedural integrity and security compliance.
• Stay current on business unit processes, application support requirements, and relevant technical skills.

• Deep expertise in SAP BASIS/HANA administration and architecture.
• Familiarity with business processes and enterprise IT functions.
• Working knowledge of COBIT5 or other structured IT governance frameworks.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements governing IT environments.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in a management or technical discipline preferred.

• 7+ years of SAP experience, with a minimum of 3 years in S/4
  
  HANA.
• Proven experience across the full lifecycle of large, complex enterprise SAP implementations.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on SAP HANA implementation experience.

• ITIL Foundation certification required (at hire or within 12 months).
• COBIT framework certification preferred.
