Solution Architects at SailPoint embark on their journey by undergoing comprehensive product training. This initial phase allows them to leverage their existing experience to gain a profound understanding of our SaaS solutions.

• Within a month or two, they begin serving as the technical leads on customer projects, using their client and partner communication skills and industry knowledge to share organizational best practices for SailPoint products and identity governance.

• After their first six months, Solution Architects establish themselves as both technical and consultative experts within the SailPoint Services organization.

• By the end of their first year they become trusted advisors to customers, partners, and less experienced team members.

• Gather customers' business use cases and document product-based requirements with recommended solution designs

• Educate customers and partners on high-level product architecture, functional design, and best practices

• Assist in the scoping, analysis, and documentation of implementation projects

• Develop and deliver technical training designed to enable SailPoint implementation partners

• Help implementation team members design creative solutions to complex problems

• Assist with the actual technical delivery of the solution via written code or complex configuration

• Use your development background to write custom work or review others' code

• 5-7+ years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company, systems integrator, or consulting firm; 3+ years of software implementation experience

• Experience in software development, implementation, and configuration

• Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working directly with clients and partners

• Experience with the following tech-stack

• NodeJS, JavaScript, Type Script, Angular, React.js

• Experience with at least one of the following

• Spring Boot, SpringMVC

• XML, SPML/SOAP, web and application servers

• Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms

• Relational databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL)

• No
  
  SQL databases (Mongo
  
  DB, Cassandra, Redis)

• Directories (LDAP, AD)

• Java, Bean Shell, JavaScript Node.js

• Enterprise resource planning or service management systems (SAP, People Soft, Service Now)

• Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Front-end language experience (HTML, CSS, Angular, React, Vue.js)

• Familiarity with SailPoint identity governance products or vendors such as Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, IBM, or Novell is a plus

• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus

• Experience with project management duties (project planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation)

• Experience with quality assurance duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans)

• Security software or IT audit experience

• Computer Science degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent experience

• J2EE certification and/or CISSP certification is a plus

• SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect is a plus and is expected within 12 months of hire

• This position may require up to 15% travel

As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation.
