Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a family-owned manufacturing company headquartered in Bucks County, PA, seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations at the corporate level. This role will serve as the company’s top accounting leader, responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, team leadership, and the development and implementation of formal accounting policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a entrepreneurial environment, can balance strategic oversight with day to day execution, and enjoys building structure and process within a growing organization.

• Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger, month end close, financial statements, and account reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis
• Develop, document, and implement accounting policies and procedures across the organization
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure consistency as the business scales
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team
• Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and credit facilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing
• Prior experience overseeing or managing an accounting team
• Strong understanding of GAAP, month end close, and financial reporting
• Experience creating or improving accounting policies and procedures

$130,000-$140,000
