Business Banking Credit Analyst

• Approve Business Banking commercial credit requests and provide credit recommendations for loan originations, renewals, extensions, and modifications
• Conduct thorough underwriting and credit analysis of borrower and transaction-level credit information
• Review assigned Business Banking portfolios to identify credit risk and recommend risk‑mitigating actions
• Utilize credit and underwriting systems to evaluate credit requests and prepare well‑documented recommendations
• Analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness in accordance with business banking policies

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Typically five or more years of relevant experience in credit analysis
• Strong analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of credit analysis and risk analysis
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer navigation skills using various software packages

• Master’s degree or CPA certification
• Background in economics, accounting, or finance
• Effective technical report writing skills
• Previous experience in monitoring a commercial loan portfolio
