Opportunity to join our Future Focus Internship Program as a Construction Management Intern

Erie Insurance is committed to helping you learn and grow with a challenging internship position that will offer you relevant and real-world business experience. We are currently seeking applicants who are interested in being considered for our upcoming summer internship program as potential Construction Management Interns!

Who should apply?

* Applications are accepted from college students currently enrolled at an accredited college or university to pursue a four-year degree or to complete a master's degree program full-time

* A four-year degree student should be completing sophomore, junior, or senior year (graduating in spring 2026 thru spring 2028)

* A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is highly preferred

* Candidates pursuing degrees in Architecture, Architectural Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields of study highly preferred

Position Summary

Under close supervision, performs functional duties for assigned division. Performs special projects as required.

* Assist with various construction management tasks such as submittal and RFI review, pay application and change order review, project budgeting and estimation, schedule review, punchlist coordination, project commissioning coordination, etc.

* Shadow various roles in the Construction Management and Operations department, including (but not limited to) Construction Site Superintendents, Construction Managers and Construction Project Coordinators.

* Participate in daily construction project site reviews with Construction Site Superintendents to gain understanding of different aspects of construction process.

* Develop an understanding of both Bluebeam and Procore project management software and assist various Construction Management and Operations departmental staff in the tasks completed in those programs. Assist with ongoing Bluebeam and Procore implementation tasks.

* Attend various design construction job conference meetings for ongoing projects to learn about the different internal and external project team member responsibilities.
