Locum - Mammography Radiologist Overview Embark on an exciting locum tenens role as a Mammography Radiologist, providing essential coverage for Continuing Medical Education & PTO. Join a hospital-based practice offering sparse sporadic coverage from June to December 2024. This opportunity allows you to contribute to women's health by performing mammography reads and related procedures, ensuring the community receives quality care.

June-Dec 2024 (Sparse sporadic coverage)

Hours:

M-F, 8 am - 5 pm (Shifts include a 1-hour unpaid lunch) Call:
No call, no weekends Setting:
Hospital-based practice Average Reads per Physician per Day: 40 Onsite Coverage Only Total Beds: 39 Trauma Level: 3 Supervision:
Not required Radiologists in Group: 1 (No other radiologists present during locums coverage) Facility Resources: 2 Mammo exam rooms, 2 ultrasound exam rooms, Hologic equipment, EPIC EMR Support Staff: 2 Rad techs, 1.5 Nurse Navigator, 1 Sonographer, 1 front desk, 1 coordinator, 1 supervisor, 1 RN manager Required Procedures:
Mammography (MQSA Certified & Digital) Preferred Procedures:
General Radiology, Bone Density Scan (Dexa Scan), Mammography Interventional - Needle Localization, Stereotactic Biopsies, Breast Ultrasound Biopsies, Breast MRI Biopsies, Fine Needle Localization, Ultrasound - General, Aspiration/Drainage, & MRI - Breast MRI Credentialing Requirements Board Certified Mammography Radiology:
Required Active WV License:
Highly Preferred (Must be willing to obtain) Epic
