Maintenance Electrician

Overview

X 2 Commercial Maintenance Electricians - Surrey & Merton Cover.

My client is a mechanical engineering company with over 50 years of operation providing mechanical engineering solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with UK regulations (e.g. BS 7671 - IET Wiring Regulations).
• Respond to emergency call-outs and unplanned maintenance issues.
• Work on a van-mobile basis across Merton & Surrey.

• NVQ Level 2 and 3 EAS / Electrotechnical discipline
• JIB Gold Card (AM2 or AM2E equivalency pass)
• Test and Inspect Qualification
• 18th Edition
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
• Live within a reasonable distance of Merton District / South London / Surrey East

• Salary: £40-46k depending on experience and qualifications held.
• 40 hour week, Monday to Friday
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes given each way.
• Fully expensed company van, fuel card and expenses.
• Call-out rota 1 in 7 weeks with a £200 retainer
• Pension, 20 days holiday and plenty of overtime available
