This is a temporary Registered Nurse role with Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role is based in Epsom and involves shift work, with responsibilities including medication distribution, dressing changes, catheterization, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions. The successful candidate will be a caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience.

As a Registered Nurse at Rosebery Manor Care Home, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. You will ensure high standards of care for our residents, undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.

You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition and for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advising families of residents and GP's of any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern and keeps them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care.
  • Responsibility for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care.
  • Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

  • Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
