OpportunityWe are looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to plan, promote and deliver webinars, in‑person events, conferences, exhibition stands and sponsor ships for Sagentia Regulatory and Leatherhead Food Research. This is a dynamic role within a collaborative marketing team and requires 3+ years’ experience in events and/or marketing, ideally B2B, and strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver event plans for Europe and North America – research, cost, secure approvals, book attendance, raise POs, and deliver within budget.
- Deliver and oversee webinars – setup, delegate registrations, rehearsals, presentation review and formatting, live delivery, post‑event reporting.
- Organise in‑person events – negotiate vendor contracts, oversee speaker logistics, delegate registrations, sponsor ships, and post‑event reporting.
- Handle logistics – shipping stands, collateral, merchandise, staffing, and delegate badges.
- Ensure events run professionally and enhance brand reputation.
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns for events and wider marketing initiatives.
- Create engaging content to drive bookings and consultant meetings, assist with design and creation of promotional materials, update website content, and manage social media/email campaigns.
- Maintain brand consistency across presentations, collateral, and photography.
- Manage email broadcasts, contact lists, and follow‑up reporting.
- Manage event budgets, P&L, and track costs.
- Support marketing admin – raise purchase orders, maintain marketing inboxes, handle enquiries, order branded materials, maintain photo library, and liaise with suppliers.
- Log inbound email and website enquiries.
- Education:
Degree in Marketing, Event Management or related field. - Prior events experience.
- Highly organised, methodical and able to multi‑task under pressure, prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills; a proactive team player with initiative and a positive attitude.
- Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and able to deliver high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with Canva, Photoshop and InDesign, and an eye for booth and graphic design.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Desirable: B2B event management experience; track record of planning and delivering multiple events monthly.
- Confident with face‑to‑face and digital events; experience with GoTo Webinar or similar.
- Familiarity with e‑Marketing (Campaigner) and CRM systems (Salesforce, Deltek).
