Our client, a long-established civil and structural engineering practice, is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their team on the outskirts of Epsom. This is an opportunity to step into a varied, impactful role within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

You'll work on structural design calculations and drawings for projects up to £5m, bringing confidence and technical skill to every stage of delivery. You'll review work produced by others, manage projects, and maintain strong communication with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders. Site supervision and inspection will form an important part of your work, covering all traditional structural materials.

Beyond building design, you'll apply your understanding of building defects to assess and specify repairs for damaged structures, including those affected by subsidence, fire, vehicle impact and other failures. You'll carry out on-site structural inspections, diagnose causes of distress, and produce clear, detailed reports. Your experience should include assessing issues such as roof spread, overloading, explosion damage and problems relating to deleterious materials.

You will hold a structural engineering degree, be enthusiastic about progressing toward Chartered MIStruct

E status, and possess a full UK driving licence for site visits.
