We are seeking a Lunchtime Assistant to join our team at Epsom Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust.

Responsible for the supervision of pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring their safety, welfare and good conduct. You will promote the inclusion of all pupils in all aspects of school life in line with school and Trust policies, promoting the ethos and the values of the school and Bourne Education Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the movement of pupils between classrooms, play areas and dining areas from the beginning of the lunchtime period to classes resuming.
  • Ensure all areas remain free from slip and trip hazards, reporting anything which cannot be immediately remedied.
  • Provide supervision of positive and enjoyable lunchtimes for pupils including organising and participating in games and activities.
Requirements
  • Awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant experience of working with children in an education setting.
