PPA Cover Supervisor

Overview

Danetree Primary School, an Ofsted rated "Outstanding" four‑form entry school in West Ewell, Epsom, is seeking a PPA Cover Supervisor for a full‑time role. The successful candidate will support children across the school, work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.

• Provide cover supervision for PPA teachers across the classroom.
• Support children and maintain a safe, calm, and engaging learning environment.
• Work as part of a team, sharing expertise and ensuring continuity of learning.
• Communicate positively with parents and colleagues about child welfare and classroom activity.

• Experience in supporting children in a primary school setting.
• Understanding of children's educational, welfare and social needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with young children.
• Calm and objective behaviour management skills.
• Enthusiastic, committed and confident as a team member.
• Clear communication with parents.
• Flexibility regarding classroom work and working hours.

Salary: £27,061 per annum (GLF Specialist
1) – actual salary £21,340.38
Hours: 33 hrs per week (Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri 8.30am‑3.45pm and Wed 8.30am‑4.30pm, 39 weeks a year incl. INSET)
