• ✅ Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• ✅ Prepare pupils for SATs assessments, ensuring they develop confidence and key skills in literacy and numeracy.
• ✅ Support children’s critical thinking, problem‑solving, and resilience as they transition to secondary school.
• ✅ Use effective assessment strategies to track progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
• ✅ Foster a growth mindset and create a classroom culture that encourages perseverance and academic success.
• ✅ Work closely with parents, carers, and support staff to ensure all children reach their full potential.
• ✅ Collaborate with the Upper Key Stage 2 team to develop innovative and effective teaching strategies.

• ✔ A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
• ✔ Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6.
• ✔ A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective SATs preparation strategies.
• ✔ A motivational and structured approach to teaching and learning.
• ✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff, pupils, and families.
• ✔ A commitment to high-quality primary education and preparing pupils for secondary school.
