Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant (ASD, ADHD, Autism, SEMH)
Location: Epsom
Pay: £90 to £95 per day
Contract: Full‑time
Start: ASAP
OverviewAre you calm under pressure, big on empathy, and brilliant at building trust? We’re working with a welcoming school in Epsom looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, Autism and SEMH needs. This is a full‑time role where you’ll really get to know the children you support and make a difference every single day.
Responsibilities- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
- Helping children stay engaged, regulated and ready to learn
- Supporting social skills, routines and emotional wellbeing
- Being a steady, reassuring presence in the classroom
- A DBS on the Update Service, or be happy to apply for one
- A positive attitude and a real passion for supporting young people
- Reliability, patience, and a good sense of humour always helps
- Have experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASD, ADHD or SEMH, or you’re a graduate in English, Maths or Science with a genuine interest in SEND and education
- Weekly pay through PAYE, no umbrella faff
- Full‑time, consistent work
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant who actually listens
