What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing year-end accounts for a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, with senior review
• Assisting with corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and reporting packs
• Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records using cloud-based accounting software (Xero, Quick Books, Kash Flow)
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Responding to client queries and supporting meetings alongside senior colleagues
• Working with partners and managers on ad-hoc advisory work and business planning projects
• Using cloud accounting tools to support clients and improve processes

About You

• Newly qualified or recently qualified ACA or ACCA
• Trained within a UK accountancy practice
• Keen to develop strong commercial awareness and client-facing confidence
• Comfortable working with cloud accounting software (Xero, Quick Books, Kash Flow preferred)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Confident using Excel, Word, and Outlook
• A positive, proactive team player eager to learn and progress
