• Preparing year‑end accounts for a portfolio of owner‑managed businesses, with senior review
• Assisting with corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and reporting packs
• Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records using cloud‑based accounting software (Xero, Quick Books, Kash Flow)
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Responding to client queries and supporting meetings alongside senior colleagues
• Working with partners and managers on ad‑hoc advisory work and business planning projects
• Using cloud accounting tools to support clients and improve processes

• Newly qualified or recently qualified ACA or ACCA
• Trained within a UK accountancy practice
• Keen to develop strong commercial awareness and client‑facing confidence
• Comfortable working with cloud accounting software (Xero, Quick Books, Kash Flow preferred)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Confident using Excel, Word, and Outlook
• A positive, proactive team player eager to learn and progress

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build towards a Senior Accountant or Manager position, with clear exposure to clients, advisory work, and leadership responsibilities over time
