You'll work closely with entrepreneurial clients across sectors including investment property, construction, professional services, retail, hospitality, and more - acting as a trusted adviser and first point of contact for all aspects of their accounting needs.

The Role

As an Accounts & Audit Manager / Senior, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients and deliver a wide range of work across accounts, audit, tax, payroll, bookkeeping, and advisory.

No two weeks are the same. You might be:

• Preparing quarterly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts
• Completing corporation tax returns and advising on personal tax planning
• Supporting client meetings alongside Partners and presenting clear, well-prepared handouts
• Producing forecasts and business models to support client growth and planning
• Advising clients using cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero, Quick Books, and Kash Flow
• Handling VAT returns and providing day-to-day advisory support

This role is ideal for someone currently in practice who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building long-term client relationships - or for someone in a smaller firm looking to broaden their exposure within a strong and diverse client portfolio.

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified (trained in Practice)
• Strong understanding of general practice accountancy and owner-managed businesses
• Commercially aware, with exposure to a broad range of business types
• Confident and professional when dealing with clients and colleagues
• Strong knowledge of cloud accounting platforms (Xero, Quick Books, Kash Flow preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities
• Full UK driving licence
