Tax Accountant - Corporate & Personal Tax with Accounts - Epsom


TPF Recruitment are supporting a well-established and highly regarded independent practice based in Epsom as they look to recruit an experienced Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

As an experienced tax professional, your role will include:

• Managing a mixed portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns, P11
  
  Ds, partnership and trust returns
• Handling corporation tax compliance and advisory projects, including R&D claims, group structures and shareholder tax planning
• Supporting and advising clients on a range of tax issues - from property and inheritance tax to business disposals and restructuring
• Working closely with the partners and senior managers on more complex advisory work
• Assisting with HMRC enquiries and investigations
• Reviewing work of junior staff and contributing to their training and progression
• Potentially getting involved in accounts preparation work if that aligns with your skills and interests

Requirements
About You

We're looking for someone with experience working in a UK accountancy practice, ideally ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience), who enjoys building strong client relationships and wants to be part of a close-knit team for the long term.
