Veterinary Receptionist – Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital, Epping, NH

At Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital, we provide compassionate pet care. We are looking for a receptionist to join a friendly, supportive and driven team to help us progress a bustling practice. The right candidate aligns with our values and can maintain processes that help provide the best client experience possible. Our receptionists are the first impression of the practice, on the phone or in person, and play a significant role in communicating with and educating clients about pet health and well‑being.

The newest team member should possess strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, and processing incoming patients
• Discharge patients and ensure accurate invoicing
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and record messages for doctors and staff
• Maintain an efficient flow of patients
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
• Update and file patient charts
• Retrieve prescriptions
• Assist with pet supply purchases such as food, supplements, and grooming items
• Maintain the cleanliness of the waiting room
• Complete weekly and monthly administrative tasks
