Learning Support Officer; Maternity Leave

St Peter’s Primary school in Epping is seeking a passionate Learning Support Officer to work in our school.

The position classified under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 as Education Support Category

B. Fixed term- 12 months

The hours of employment for this position will be spread over 5 days 9-1.30pm.

This position will commence the start of Term 2, 2026

• Demonstrate a passion for working with children.
• Demonstrate a capacity to work collaboratively and support the needs of children with a range of learning difficulties.
• Demonstrate a willingness and capacity to work with students with learning and/or social-emotional challenges.
• Possess a high level of patience and emotional maturity to support students with significant learning or behavioural challenges.
• Previous experience will be taken into consideration but is not a prerequisite.
• Successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check, Police check and is expected to comply with the school’s Code of Conduct and Child Safe Policy.
