The Rates & Pricing group’s mission is to expand Grant PUD’s rates and pricing capabilities to support our strategic objectives:
Maintain a strong financial position, provide long‑term low rates, and provide outstanding service to our customers.

Essential Functions

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Lead Financial Analyst
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining complex financial models and leading Rates and Pricing initiatives, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
    • Leading the development and refinement of advanced financial models, including comprehensive cost of service studies
    • Designing, modifying and implementing electric rate schedules to support equitable, sustainable and strategically aligned pricing structures
    • Coordinate with Customer Billing and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely implementation of approved rate changes
    • Researching, interpreting, and applying regulatory policies that impact electric rate structures and pricing strategies
    • Analyzing complex electric utility tariffs and contractual agreements to ensure compliance and inform rate recommendations
    • Leading cross functional research, financial analysis, and modeling projects to support data driven rate recommendations
    • Preparing and delivering presentations to the Commission and other key stakeholders to communicate analysis, recommendations, and initiative progress
  • Serves as a project manager for major Rates and Pricing initiatives, ensuring projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and with within established timelines. Develops project plans, organizes and prioritizes tasks, coordinates cross functional resources, monitors progress, and drives initiatives through to successful completion while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Works directly with the Commission to provide initiative updates and explain Rates and Pricing methodologies.
