CNC Mill Machinist Job Description

Join our team as a CNC Mill Machinist, where you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines. You will utilize essential tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to ensure precision and accuracy in your work.

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines.
• Machine steel using CNC mills, ensuring high standards of precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute machining tasks.
• Edit machining programs and manage tool life effectively.
• Understand and apply knowledge of tooling, loading, usage, speeds, and feeds.
• Determine the sequence of operations to optimize machining processes.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers.

• 4 to 10 years of experience with CNC mills and multi-axis machines.
• Proficiency in machining various grades of steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with Mazak, Okuma, and DMG machines.

• Experience with CNC mill setups and operations.
• Ability to move offsets and manage tooling effectively.
• Knowledge of machining processes and sequence of operations.

Work in a manufacturing environment that specializes in hydraulic actuators. The facility operates two shifts: 1st shift from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, and 2nd shift from 1:15 PM to 9:45 PM, Monday through Friday. Enjoy a professional setting with a focus on safety and teamwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Enumclaw, WA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $26.00/hr.
