South Puget Sound Region Finance is looking for an Accounts Payable & Payroll Analyst to join a Fiscal Analyst team. The role supports 250 permanent & seasonal employees across multiple counties with internal policy, funding, and seasonal changes.
Responsibilities- Process vendor and employee payment claims according to DNR and county agreements, contracts, and internal policy.
- Verify and reconcile semi‑monthly payroll for approximately 250 employees.
- Administer region credit card accounts.
- Deposit daily cash and checks received at the region office.
- One year of fiscal technical experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience with Payroll and Accounts Payable.
- Experience using M365 – Teams, SharePoint, One Drive.
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting rules.
- Decision making within delegated authority.

- Associate degree or higher in accounting, auditing, budgeting.
- Knowledge of DNR or OFM financial policies.
- Experience using SAP software such as Natur
E or HRMS. - Experience with government fiscal operations.
- Business computer software aptitude.
- Financial analysis report experience.
