Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety for an entire store, inside and out, and make customers feel welcome.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization in sanitation tasks.
• Cleans/picks up trash and debris from flower beds and yard around the store.
• Use the H-E-B chemical program; correctly organize/maintain stock in the maintenance room.
• Wash windows and mirrors throughout the store.
• Empty/clean trash receptacles throughout the shift.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards/SOPs.
• Communicate maintenance needs, problems, or solutions to store leadership.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs using simple hand tools.
• Maintain ceiling air vents; replace light bulbs.
• Work with and around customers; attend to their needs; assist customers in locating products.
• Perform Customer Service Assistant (CSA) duties when needed.

What is your background?

• Minimum age 18 (mandatory).
• Completion of Company Orientation, Basics of Safety training, and in-store orientation.

• Never lift beyond safe lifting limits; if an item is too heavy, break it down or ask for assistance from another Partner or a manager.
