As a Shipping Operator you will be responsible for loadingaurante trucks, order picking, stretch-wrapping pallets, packing, palletizing, operating standup forklift and shipping and receiving.

• Responsible for control of inbound and outbound materials/ingredients/products.
• Enters information and resolves discrepancies in computerized Warehouse Management system relating per raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods.
• Notifies Maintenance when problems arise, or other work needs to be done on forklifts, docks, doors, or other areas of the plant.
• Transports, stages, and rotates product in coolers/freezers.
• Maintains warehouse storage facility. Stores items in correct locations and keeps area free of debris.
• Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and HACCP food safety plan guidelines.
• Communicate with operators from other shifts regarding daily shipping/receiving tasks.
• Assures food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees.
• Maintains a professional, courteous manner with all visitors, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Follows established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 5 years shipping/receiving/warehousing experience
• Clean driving record of safe operation of all types of powered industrial trucks
• Food manufacturing experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
