Location: Enid, OK

Full‑time Certified Medication Aide – PRN. Join our team at a facility specializing in resident care.

As the Certified Medication Aide at Garland Road Nursing & Rehab Center in Enid, OK, you will administer oral and topical medications as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal rules and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
  • Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
  • Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
  • Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
Qualifications
  • State certification as a Nurse Aide is required.
  • State certification as a Medication Aide is required.
  • State approved medication administration certification.
  • Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
  • Highly developed observation skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
