Summary of JobThe Director of Clinical Education provides strategic leadership and oversight for all clinical training and educational programs within the hospital. This role ensures that staff, students, and residents receive high‑quality, evidence‑based instruction that promotes patient safety, professional development, and organizational excellence.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and oversee training, onboarding, and continuing education programs for nurses and other clinical staff, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to identify educational gaps, prioritize training needs, and mentor educators, preceptors, and staff to foster continuous learning.
- Manage clinical rotations for students (e.g., nursing, physician assistant), coordinating with academic partners to ensure compliance with educational standards.
- Serve as liaison with schools for recruitment and act as a strategic advisor on clinical education initiatives, fostering collaborations with universities, professional organizations, and community stakeholders.
- Evaluate program effectiveness, monitor staff spores, and develop remediation plans ಕೆ underperformance.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Education, or a related clinical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7‑10 years in clinical practice and at least 5 years in leadership or education roles.
- Current professional license in a healthcare discipline (RN, PT, etc.) as required.
- Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, ANA Standards on Staff Development, and adult learningscreen con principles.
- Demonstrated ability in problem analysis, program development, conflict resolution, and oral/written presentations.
- Certifications required: BLSI, ACLSI, PALSI, and PEARSI.
