Job Description
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of medical conditions. This role involves producing high-quality sonographic images of internal organs, ensuring patient safety, and providing age-appropriate patient care. The technologist operates sonographic equipment, communicates exam results, and serves as the first point of contact for imaging services.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sonographer
- Must be a general sonographer with vascular and echocardiography experience
- No new graduates
Education & Certification
- Graduate of an accredited Sonography program (required)
- RDMS certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
