Surgical Tech - OR/Surgical - FT - Day Shift
St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, located in Enid, OK, is seeking a Full‑Time Surgical Tech to join our surgical team.
Sign‑On Bonus$5,000 sign‑on bonus eligible for Surgical Tech Certified positions.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate proper material management (instruments, sponges, needles, etc.).
- Execute transfer techniques with sharps, as needed.
- Count surgical objects as required per policy.
- Maintain accountability and care of surgical specimens.
- Adhere to OSHA exposure plan guidelines and protect self and others.
- Understand the surgery environment and use appropriate PPE.
- Perform required procedures across all surgical specialties (orthopedic, neuro, general, vascular, OB/GYN, plastic, cysto, uro, ophthalmology).
- Scrub for operative procedures demonstrating good aseptic technique and perioperative safety.
- Assist the nurse with patient prep, positioning, and transportation.

- Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) required.
- 1-2 years of scrubbing experience in an operating room setting.
- BLS certification required.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- High school graduate or GED required.
- BLS required.
- Surgical technology preparation and/or experience in operating room technique required.
- Nurse aide experience preferred.
