Pharmacy Manager – Walmart
Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr
Position SummaryLead the pharmacy team at Walmart, ensuring high‑quality patient care, community outreach, and operational excellence while maintaining compliance with all statutory and corporate standards.
What you’ll do- Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and overseeing other medication‑related programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels.
- Model, enforce, and guide customer‑service practices to resolve customer needs within company guidelines.
- Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as community ambassadors.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews.
- Proficiency in working effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Expertise in analyzing data to enhance pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.
- Competence in analyzing financial data to make informed business decisions.
- Capability to manage a pharmacy, including overseeing staff and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm
D, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). - Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE‑accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
- U.S. pharmacy‑related experience.
