Position Overview:

PAC’s Development Department seeks a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Development Associate / Database Manager to join our growing team. This full-time position reports to the Director of Development and plays a vital role in supporting all fundraising initiatives by managing the donor database, processing gifts, and assisting with donor communications, reporting, and special events. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong database management experience (particularly with Raiser’s Edge), and a passion for the performing arts and nonprofit mission-driven work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage all donor and constituent data in Raiser’s Edge and excel, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely updates.
- Process and acknowledge all financial and in-kind contributions; coordinate monthly reconciliation of donations with the Finance Department.
- Generate and analyze gift reports, donor lists, campaign summaries, and performance metrics.
- Manage and track department budgets, pledges, and contributed income report.
- Support the Development team with membership processing, fundraising campaigns, renewals, and direct mail efforts.
- Research prospective donors, corporations, and foundations as assigned.
- Assist with scheduling, donor correspondence, and maintaining organized department files.
- Provide on-site event support for donor cultivation and stewardship activities, including managing the VIP Lounge on performance nights based on rotation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless data integration between ticketing, finance, and development systems.
- Perform additional projects and administrative tasks as needed to support the Development Department and Executive Office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Arts Administration, Communications, Business, or related field).
- Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, database management, or nonprofit administration.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft and proof correspondence and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort working with data and reporting tools.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
