Anticipated Position Opening Credit Recovery Instructor (Grades 10, 11 and 12)
Program:
The Credit Recovery Instructor will provide one-to-one live virtual teaching for students to meet a sixty(60) hour per course requirement for credit recovery.

The Credit Recovery After-School Supervisor/Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the effective implementation of the school’s credit recovery program to ensure students have structured opportunities to earn or regain course credits needed for on-time graduation. This role requires strong organization, communication, and leadership to maintain a productive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
Qualifications- NJ Certification:
Administrator/Supervisor Certification - Familiar with the NJ Student Learning Standards
- Deep knowledge of educational software applications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Credit Recovery requirements and process
- Coordinate the daily operations of the after‑school credit recovery program, including scheduling, room assignments, and student placement.
- Collaborate with counselors, administrators, and teachers to verify student eligibility and credit needs.
- Ensure instructors have necessary materials, access to online platforms, and student information to support learning.
- Assist with troubleshooting technical or instructional issues related to credit recovery platforms.
- Track and document student performance, completion rates, and behavioral incidents.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, students, and families regarding program operations.
