Class A CDL Driver

Overview

Base pay range: $29.00/hr - $33.00/hr the Class A CDL Driver transports goods from one location to another. They will help load and unload products from the vehicle and verify contents against shipping invoices or inventories. The driver must operate within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.

The ideal candidate for this position is at least 21 years old, has a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of two years of driving experience, a Class A CDL, can pass the Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). examination, and has basic mechanical skills to perform regular vehicle inspections. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, and appropriate appearance, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

• Transports goods from one location to another
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road
• May help load and unload product from the vehicle and verify contents against shipping invoices or inventories
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and ensures the proper working condition
• Completes any reports or logs

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Two years of driving experience required
• Able to pass the DOT physical examination
• A high school diploma or GED preferred
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Basic mechanical skills to perform regular vehicle inspections
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Class A CDL License
• Able to lift heavy objects
