Backend Developer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Software Engineer, Java Developer
Our client is seeking a Backend Software Developer to join their team! This position is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Duties:- Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for enterprise-scale applications
- Deploy and support services in AWS environments such as: ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Containerize applications and work with Kubernetes/EKS for deployment and scaling
- Collaborate with other engineers to design reusable, maintainable, and high‑performing services
- Participate in Agile development practices and iterative releases
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to maintain service reliability
- Follow best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD integration
- Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape backend design patterns
Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
- Hands‑on experience with AWS such as: ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and unit/integration tests
- Knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to debug complex production issues
- Familiarity with Agile development practices

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $115,000-$139,000
. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
