Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer for a contract opportunity supporting automation initiatives in a lab-based engineering environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced setting and enjoys building high-quality user interfaces from the ground up. This position is 100% on‑site in Greenwood Village, CO (5 days per week in the lab).

About the Role:

The Software Developer will play a key role in developing and enhancing UI templates while integrating them with established back‑end APIs. The environment emphasizes proactive problem‑solving, customer experience, and high-quality engineering standards. This role is approximately 90% front‑end development, with Python required for integration work.

• Develop new UI templates from scratch
• Maintain and enhance existing UI screens
• Integrate front‑end interfaces with back‑end APIs
• Represent APIs visually through intuitive UI and graphics
• Ensure high‑quality, proactive customer experience
• Support internal automation initiatives as needed

• Strong front‑end engineering background with integration experience
• Ability to translate APIs into clean, functional user interfaces
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Personable, team‑oriented, and comfortable working in a lab environment
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• Ability to identify and resolve issues proactively

• Node.js
• React.js, Vue.js, or Angular (any one required)
• Strong Web Design experience
• Python (FastAPI or Flask)
• API development and integration
• SQL

• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript expertise
• Experience with modern UI frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Material UI)
• REST API design (validation, request/response handling, error handling)
• Graphic/UI design experience for internal platforms

• On‑site in Greenwood Village, CO

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
