Job Summary

The role is based in New York and focuses on designing, building, and supporting a high‑quality, innovative video advertising platform for the television industry.

• Design, architect, and implement solutions using AWS services, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
• Develop and manage highly scalable, reliable infrastructure on AWS, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and related orchestration tools.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance of AWS infrastructure and containerized environments.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability in the AWS cloud environment.
• Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into technical designs and specifications.
• Document and maintain software functionality.
• Support overall business by resolving technical issues and troubleshooting infrastructure and application problems.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization; evaluate their impact on infrastructure and applications.
• Work closely with operations and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure/application issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement automation and optimization opportunities.
• Partner with global engineering, product, and operations teams to incorporate collective innovations.
• Mentor junior software engineers.
• Construct and optimize ad delivery infrastructure for high concurrency, high availability, and low latency.
• Continuously optimize existing systems to support rapid business development.
• Assist with end‑to‑end software development, update processes, and roll‑outs of releases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product and technical requirements and conduct integration analysis.
• Write and edit documentation, including software designs, test results, and technical manuals.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the design process and guide practices, procedures, and techniques.
• Serve as a mentor for junior‑level software development engineers.

• In‑depth understanding of cloud, containerization, distributed architecture, and middleware such as cache, message queue, and Nginx.
• Experience in large‑scale online service design, development, and operation.
• Strong foundation in Linux/Unix, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Golang and network programming.
• Experience with distributed and mission‑critical systems.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and technical innovation skills.
• Strong passion for learning and practicing new technologies.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and software engineering methodologies.
• Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingly work with global teams and accommodate additional working hours when necessary.
• Advertising industry experience is a plus.

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

5‑7 years of experience in software engineering (minimum of 2 years for broader opportunities).

Primary Location Pay Range: $ – $. Base pay is one part of the total rewards and is dependent on experience and job‑related factors. Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, and other approved employee programs.
