Senior Software Engineer – Java, AWS

Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in developing object-oriented software using Java.
• Experience with Visual Basic and Python.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems.
• Competence in using development tools such as Jira, Git, and Eclipse.
• An active, transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory before the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is essential, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Update software versions for Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS).
• Refresh software and hardware infrastructure.
• Develop, integrate, and test software required for system updates.
• Collaborate with skilled teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
