Diesel Technician

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and driveline systems
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles
• Conduct road tests to ensure repairs meet performance standards
• Use diagnostic tools and software to trouble shoot and resolve issues efficiently
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that guests are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Adhere to safety standards and comply with Federal and State regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems
• Previous GM experience or training preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions
• Valid driver’s license
