Position: Local Contract Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $54-55 per hour
Health Trust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Englewood, Colorado.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Critical Care experience and/or PACU experience

• PALS/ACLS/BLS/NIHSS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Stroke Care

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Pre-Op and recover any patient who receives anesthesia.

• High Neuro volume, stroke patients, Interventional radiology, TAVR’s, Critical Care overflow, Surgeries include: spine, general, GI, Colorectal, Total Joints, GYN, Robotics cases

• Patient Ratios – 1 RN to 2 patients, same day surgery patients may have up to 3 at a time. Staffed per ASPAN standards.

• Type of equipment – GE Monitors

• EMR - Meditech

• 36 guaranteed hours a week and RTO upon request

• Potential Overtime hours

• 13 week contract, book directly with facility

• Potential to extend contract with facility

• Potential hourly incentives for specific specialties
