Must-Have:
Must have 2 years of ICU experience. Prefer prior travel experience. If a first-time traveler, then 3+ years of ICU experience and Epic experience are required.

Description:

Hiring Process:
Candidate interview with the clinical team.
Travelers are expected to float throughout the assigned zone.
Week of orientation, clinicians must be present regardless of remote module status.
RNs must be comfortable titrating all critical drips.
Common titratable drips include pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin.
There is no designated charge nurse while on the unit, unless necessary.
Charge nurses are more common on night shifts.
RNs are expected to assist in managing respiratory needs.
Equipment such as vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow will be utilized.
RNs are required to read and interpret their own telemetry strips.
Shifts are scheduled by leadership for 6 weeks at a time.
Travelers must remain flexible and help fill scheduling gaps.
Weekend requirements are 6-9 shifts within a 6-week schedule.
May be asked to participate in holiday rotations.
Floating between different acuity levels may be required.
The dress code allows for any color scrubs.
The assignment location will be communicated on or before the start date.
The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
Experience in various ICU combinations is preferred.
