Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department needs and standards of nursing practice. In collaboration with medical providers and the care team, the RN delivers individualized, comprehensive care using established nursing models. The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and supports the organization’s mission and values.

  • Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers; documents care in the patient record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Educates patients/families/caregivers about condition, status, treatment plan, medications, side effects and follow-up; translates complex medical terminology as needed.
  • Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as healthy lifestyle changes and self-management.
  • Supports evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement to meet quality measures and outcomes.
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver a holistic treatment plan that supports recovery.
  • Qualifications:
    • RN ICU experience required; acute experience in PCU/Stepdown may be considered.
    • ACLS
    • BLS
    • Colorado State or Multistate RN licensure
    • RN Diploma
