Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Med Surg position on night shift, requiring a CO or compact RN license and recent neurotrauma experience.

• Work in a Neuro Med Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes neurotrauma and neurological medical-surgical cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week seasonal travel contract
• Provide care for patients with neurotrauma and complex neurological conditions
• Night shift schedule may include weekends and holidays as required by hospital needs
• Applicants must be able to provide all required documentation for licensure and certifications
• First time travelers may be considered if all other requirements are met

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent specialty experience in neurotrauma or neuro med/surg
• At least 2 years of clinical experience required if applying for facilities in HCA Far West - N CA Region
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required; two if licensed in Florida or Missouri
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered
