PC Aquatic Maintenance Head Lead

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading facility maintenance(grounds and overall cleanliness) of Pirates Cove Waterpark. This person will perform all duties necessary to maintaining the bathhouse, grounds, Swimming Pools and all buildings in addition to janitorial product ordering and inventory of cleaning items and products. This person will assist in scheduling and supervising maintenance staff for daily shifts and cleaning duties.

Must be able to take initiative and work well without direct supervision. Must be able to perform general cleaning duties of the pool and deck area.

While performing the essential duties of this job, this position is required to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb, balance, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and move objects and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds frequently. Hours include early morning and evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Requires excellent customer service skills.

• Assist in scheduling and supervision of maintenance staff
• Leads and oversees Maintenance staff in daily duties
• Orders janitorial and facility products as needed
• Inventory of cleaning and operating supplies
• Cleaning/mopping tile areas
• Emptying waste receptacles
• Cleaning of shower and toilet areas
• Vacuuming of pool
• Deck cleaning
• Picking up debris inside and outside of facility grounds
• Maintaining swimming pool equipment
• Maintaining swimming pool standards set forth by the State of Colorado Health Department
• Records daily, weekly, monthly logs as required
• All duties necessary to maintain a clean and safe facility

Any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance. Employee must have two years experience in custodial or general maintenance. A combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance may be considered.

This position is subject to a mandatory background screening.

$17.47 - $26.21/Hourly Rate

Anticipated Starting Rate: $17.77/Hourly Rate
