Compensation: $75,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience

We are seeking a personable, highly motivated, and tech-savvy Litigation Paralegal who wants to join a firm that values collaboration and a team-centered culture to obtain excellent results for our clients. Our paralegals play an integral role in each of our cases and are respected for their ideas and contributions.
Responsibilities- Litigation Support & Case Management:
Work cooperatively with attorneys to keep cases advancing; taking initiative to regularly update attorneys on case status and quickly alerting attorneys to important client and case needs. - Track, manage, analyze and organize discovery, docket court and other deadlines, and client records to proactively anticipate needs.
- Draft responses to pleadings and discovery requests.
- Show proficiency in Colorado state and federal court procedure and rules; ability to thoroughly research court rules and procedures in other jurisdictions.
- Manage eDiscovery throughout all phases of litigation, including coordinating ESI workflows, supporting defensible discovery practices, and partnering with attorneys on discovery strategy.
- Coordinate and support document review workflows (including privilege review) and assist with preparation, quality control, and execution of document productions.
- Prepare for and attend trial including compiling trial materials, coordinating witnesses, preparing and issuing trial subpoenas, preparing and managing exhibits, tracking responses during voir dire.
- 5+ years of litigation and trial experience. Defense experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing ESI (Electronically Stored Information) using discovery platforms, with specific experience in Everlaw preferred.
- Working knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and its application across the discovery lifecycle.
- Experience using litigation support software to manage transcripts and exhibits preferred (e.g. Everlaw, Live Note, Case Map).
- Very comfortable and interested in learning new technology and new processes.
- Flexible, self-starter capable of responding quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities.
- Anticipate challenges and exercise independent judgment to make sound decisions and take effective action.
- Deliver high quality work product and take ownership, responsibility, and accountability.
